Annabella's Story...
I know what you’re thinking: Why is such a pretty girl so insecure? Well, let me tell ya, just because I am a bit unsure in new situations doesn’t mean that I can’t make an excellent pet. I truly am a happy girl, just not overly confident. I won’t mind sharing my home with other dogs, I do just wonderful with all the doggies here, and I even did well meeting the kitty cats today. I adore the gentle affection of children too, as long as they are respectful and calm. I am also proud to add that I am crate trained already and seem to have pretty good manners. Plus I am a great size with a short, sleek, beautiful, low-maintenance coat, so I think I’ll make an excellent house dog. I guess that all I can say is that if you are a gentle and patient family looking for a loyal companion, pick me, beautiful Annabella! 2 years old-57lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes spay, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam, reduced-cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annabella, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
