Hi! My name is Maddox, and I am a 1-year-old, chocolate and white Pit Bull mix weighing 60-pounds. I am loving, sweet and what some people call amazing! I came to the SPCA of Texas on April 4 when I was rescued by an Animal Cruelty Investigator. I may have had a rough start in life, but you'd never know by my charming personality! I love going on runs or walks, being around people, and spending time with other dogs as long as I get introduced to them properly. I'm a gentle giant, and make friends with everyone I meet. I do expect lots of petting and attention from my new friends, though! At home, I love to cuddle in your lap while you watch TV or entertain myself with a rope toy. I'm great at riding in cars and even do pretty well in a crate! Some people are surprised by how mature I am for my age, but sometimes I get excited and behave like the puppy I am. If you're looking for a big, handsome guy with an even bigger heart, I'm the one for you! I have been neutered, microchipped and have received all age-appropriate vaccinations. I was Heartworm positive but SPCA of Texas has completed my treatment and now I just have to take it easy for a few more weeks. Please come meet me today, I know we will be the best of friends!
