Hi! I'm Doodle! I'm looking for my new and loving forever home! I didn't get any love and attention from my last home! The only attention I got was when I was fed. I'm now learning what love is and doing great! Yes, I'm a beautiful boy! I'm approx. 1 year old and approx. 13-15 pounds(8/9). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful, once I get to know you. I'm good with older kids and other dogs. Small kids might scare me. I haven't been tested with cats and find chickens to be delicious. When my foster mom puts me in her lap, she loves on me and I relax to the point I go to sleep. I have a very gentle and submissive temperament. I'm a work in progress but I'm highly intelligent and a sweetheart! I'm worth the effort! I'm working on house training and use a pee pad now. Right now, I like to sleep under the bed. I will need a forever person or family that is compassionate and patient and will spend time with me to socialize me and teach me how to be a loved dog! With the right person or family I will blossom in to the perfect dog! I just need a chance! I have so much love to give! I hope to have a forever home with a big fenced in yard so I can stretch my legs and put my ears in the wind. All pets come with up-to-date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and health certificate from veterinarian within 48-72 hrs of transport. All pets come from NC/VA (our euthanasia rate is approx 85%) and must be quarantined (to ensure health) prior to leaving the state. We go ahead and post them in hopes of them having a home ready and waiting for them to go, once their quarantine period is over. We also adopt into Canada.
