My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Need a sidekick? Frank loves to ride... He is good with everyone, even my yappy snappy Chihuahuas!! He is now heartworm free and anxiety free!!! He really deserves a home where he can be the center of attention. Frank thinks he is a lap dog so he would not be happy as an outside dog. His human is very important to him.
FRANK THE TANK is now heartworm free and looking for a home. We are seeking someone who is home most of the day. Frank absolutely loves to ride. If the truck door is open he is ready to ride..... When we first got Frank he suffered terribly from separation anxiety. I don't know if it had anything to do with the circumstances of how he was found. ( Someone had tied him to a light pole in a rural part of the parish.) Fortunately time and lots of love has taught him he can trust us to come back. He now can be kenneled for 4 or 5 hours during the day and all night long without any problems! He needs a non rural environment. He delights in defeathering my roosters and chasing the domestic rabbits until they die of fright. He is good with the cats, other dogs, and people.- just not chickens or rabbits. He also loves kids.

Frank is approximately 6 years old and currently weighs around 80 pounds.

Frank is up for adoption through Swampy Paws and his adoption fee is $150 which includes all vaccinations, dewormer, flea/heartworm prevention, heartworm treatment, vet check and neuter.

A fenced yard and home visit are REQUIRED to adopt.
