Hi! I'm Boomer! I'm new to the world and now looking for my forever home! Yes, I'm a cutie and you couldn't ask for a better dog! I'm approx. 8 months old and approx. 7-8 pounds(8/11). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful. You'll see how wonderful I am in my video. I'm great with kids, cats and other dogs. I'm highly intelligent and mind well, inside and out. I'm pee-pad and leash trained. I do have an accident only once and a while but I'm still young. I learn very quickly and eager to please. I have a very gentle, loving and submissive temperament. I'm not a barker. I love to play with other dogs and enjoy squeaky toys. I really enjoy being petted and loved on. The more, the better! I don't mind being a lap baby and like to sleep right beside of my human. I like to go for car rides and ride well. I'd make the perfect family pet or even a therapy dog. I'm ready to learn new things and live the good life I so richly deserve! I'd love to be an exciting addition to your wonderful life! Belly rubs are a must!

All pets come with up-to-date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and health certificate from veterinarian within 48-72 hrs of transport. Adults are also sterilized and heartworm tested prior to placement. For more information/application visit our website at TRANSPORTATION TO THE NORTHEAST IS AVAILABLE. All pets come from NC/VA (our euthanasia rate is approx 85%) and must be quarantined (to ensure health) prior to leaving the state. We go ahead and post them in hopes of them having a home ready and waiting for them to go, once their quarantine period is over. We also adopt into Canada. FAST, AFFORDABLE TRANSPORTATION IS AVAILABLE if needed along the eastern United States, SO PLEASE DON'T LET DISTANCE STOP YOU FROM ADOPTING!

About Carolina Canine Rescue Burlington VT

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small  nonprofit  group.  We rely only on our adoption fees to survive. We have been rescuing, vetting, and rehabilitating dogs and puppies  since 2009.  We take  in dogs and puppies  from our county  kill shelter as well as abandoned and injured dogs and puppies, regardless  of  their age or any health issues.  We do not turn any away due to health issues. We have taken in dogs with hearworms, mange, physical handicaps, injuries, severe malnutrition, etc. You name it, we've probably seen it! We get these pooches back to good health then begin our search for just the right home for that pet! We also  assist  individuals  in rehoming  their  pets if needed. One advantage we have over other rescues is that two of our volunteers are in wheelchairs, so many of our pooches are already used to being around individuals with special needs!

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Any monetary donations are greatly appreciated and go toward vet bills and dog food!  Donations may be made by mail or paypal to   Our website also has a paypal donate button on the homepage. All donations  are tax deductible!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events at various pet stores during the warmer months.

Our Adoption Process...

We do require  an adoption  application  and an adoption  contract,  which can be  found  on our website  at   Adoption  fees vary. You must be at least 20 yrs. of age to apply.

All of our available  pets are rescued  from NC and VA where the county animal shelters euthanize up to 100% of the animals.  Many of the southern county shelters still euthanize with the gas chamber and by heart stick.
