Facts about Oracle

  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 20171037
  • Hair: Short
Oracle, and his sister Prophecy, were dumped; pretty shattering for the both of them. They were found on the west side of town and taken to the local SPCA where they were rescued again by OAR through the Feral Freedom Program. Nope, they aren’t feral; not at all. We are fairly confident they grew up together, so it is OAR’s hope that they can grow old together in a loving home.

Oracle’s foster mom says he is just a big goofy cuddlebug. He is a “total” shadow and just wants pets, kisses and cuddles. One of his most favorite pastimes is looking out the window; he could do this all day. He is just a darling!

Prophecy is a curious, adventurous, very sweet kitty. She is playful and her favorite toy is the laser pointer. Prophecy is not fond of being held, but she does like to lie beside you. Her foster mom says she is super beautiful (we all agree on that) and she loved her time with Prophecy!

Both Oracle and Prophecy are delightful kitties, but, of course, are a little sad at losing their home and being in unfamiliar surroundings. If you have room in your home and room in your heart for two, please consider giving Oracle and Prophecy the great gift of a loving home. Double your pleasure, double your purrs!

Our Adoption Process...

We have many cats and kittens looking for wonderful homes! All of our cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and microchipped. Adoption fee is $50. Because we like for our cats to go home in pairs, we have a standing 2 for 1 adoption special -- you can adopt 2 cats for one fee of $50.

Meet some of our cats and kittens, and fill out an application today! An OAR representative will get in touch with you to discuss your application. We do require a phone screening before an adoption so if you are coming to visit the cats and hope to take a cat or kitten home that day, fill out and submit the application at least a day beforehand so we can pre-approve your adoption.

As of 3/7/12, our adoption policy requires that the adopters of our cats not declaw the cats, no matter what the cat's age. We will, with our adoption counselors' help, provide potential adopters with information on alternatives to declawing. We also sometimes have previously declawed cats up for adoption. These can be a good alternative for adopters who are adamant about declawing.
