Cutie pie Calla is quite the character! She is an adorable Lab/Basset Hound mix girl who loves her human, and will soak up all the pets she can get! Calla is a 4 year old, 40 pound low-rider of short, stocky, furry friendliness. She is crate trained already, and doing well with her leash and house training. Calla is a one-of-a-kind and would love to have other canine siblings in her home! She is also good with kids and wouldn't mind some of those to show her affection either! Calla seems to think kitties are for chasing, so a home with no cats is preferred for her. She would love to have a fenced yard or acreage to run on and a comfy couch to cuddle with you at the end of the day. We think you will be pleased a punch with this perky pretty girl. Please apply to adopt this cutie Calla today!

Meet this dog on Saturday, 8-19 at PETCO, 377 W Jackson St #11, Cookeville, TN 38501 - we'll be there from 12:30 to 5pm.

A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Adoption donations vary and are subject to change without notice. Thank you for thinking adoption first!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process starts with an approved Adoption Application and an interview with one of our adoption coordinators. Our pets must live primarily indoors, and be adopted to homes who demonstrate their desire to add another family member to their home.
