Sam is a good boy, and not at all to blame for needing a new home. He has been a loving companion for nine years, but his original family’s circumstances have changed.
The best fit for Sam will be an active person (or persons) who loves throwing the ball for fetch as well as curling up on the couch. He is gentle with kids of all ages. Other dogs should not be a problem -- he has a Greyhound BFF in his life now -- as long as they are introduced properly and slowly so they can get to know each other.
Sam does have storm-induced anxiety, but his current family has a routine for helping to keep him calm (Thundershirt, medication and the safety of a kennel).
Might your home be a good fit for Sam? If so, he’s ready and eager to meet you!
