Cassandra is about 12 weeks old and had a very scary start to life. Cassandra was dropped off by some homes on the lake in Bridgeport. She was living in a woodpile trying to survive. Thankfully, some wonderful women who live by this barn/woodpile began to feed Cassandra. They asked us for our help in trapping Cassandra as they had seen a fox in the area and were very fearful for Cassandra. I took a trip out to the lake, trap in hand, to see what I could do. One of the kind women is Lisa Cook. She previously adopted a kitty from Wayward Paws. Lisa showed me where the little baby was and we set up the trap with food. We no sooner walked away and the trap was set off. Inside is little Cassandra scared to death. Well, with a visit to the vet, (she had an upper respiratory and an eye infection) she is healthy now and just as playful as she can be. Cassandra is very loving for such a young cat. She is constantly making bread (kneading) and purring the second she sees you. Thank you so much Lisa Cook for saving this little angel. Cassandra is available for adoption. Her adoption fee is $100.00. Text Rita @315-440-0902 or Email RBrantum@twcny.rr.com.
