Meet Bennett! Bennet is the male version of Julie the Cruise Director! He is light-hearted, resilient, and is super-friendly and fun. Bennett is the size of a mini-aussie with large, shiny eyes, a mane of fluffy gold fur, and a nub tail <3 When he perks his, he looks like a very puffy fox.
Watch this space for more information on this little nugget... We're discovering that Bennet is  a bit of a diva! After about five minutes of his morning walk, he gets a bit wild on the leash and prefers to be picked up and carried! He is a super smuggler and kisser. Bennett would like a home where people are at home a great deal and prepared to give him lots of love and adoration -- jeweled collar optional!
Bennett is well-acquainted with large dogs as he was rescued along with his buddy, Nolan the Gentle Giant. However, since he very strongly dominates Nolan (wow!) we feel he may be happiest as an only dog, or maybe as a companion to a female.
Bennett has just recently joined our rescue and his profile will be updated frequently in order to help us secure the best possible match for his needs. Please consider following his profile so that you'll be notified of new photos, video, or bio updates.
If you have questions or would like to be considered for Bennett's placement, please complete our online adoption application!
Our fees and policies are on our home page at We encourage you to register on our site and "Favorite" the dog(s) that interest you, so that you will be notified when bio or photos are updated.
**IMPORTANT** If you are reading about this dog on a pet search site, PLEASE navigate to our animal list and read this dog's entire, detailed profile, which includes important criteria that must be met in order for your application to be considered.
  • "Fenced yard" means, a backyard that is adjacent to and connected with your residence. (It does not mean, a nearby fenced area/dog park.)
  • "Companion animal" means, needs at least one other friendly dog that lives in the same household.

Dogs remain posted while we screen potential adopters. The dog's status will show "available" "pending adoption" or "adopted." As long as dog is "available" we continue to accept applications.

We are staffed by all volunteers and use an application protocol to handle all inquiries about adoptable dogs. This system enables an efficiency that allows us to save and care for more dogs. Discussion about a dog - including scheduling of a home check or other dialogue - cannot occur until we have received your completed adoption applicationNO EXCEPTIONS. Thank you!

About Better Days, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We have achieved US Federal non-profit status and are a 501(c)(3) charity. Please visit our website

We rescue, care for, and rehabilitate dogs that may have some medical issues and/ or may not be easiest to place because of lack of training and socialization. Many of our dogs are taken from the euthanasia lists at the County shelters; some are found dogs with no apparent homes. Every aspect of our work helps to ensure better days ahead for each of our dogs!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please visit our website where you can view both available and project dogs. We do not have a shelter, our dogs live in private accommodations around the Phoenix area.

We post progress videos, sneakpeaks, outtakes, and other fun images on @BetterDaysRescue on Facebook and Instagram.

If you would like to partner with us to save dogs, please complete our volunteer application. Donations may be made

Our Adoption Process...

We pride ourselves in extensive vetting of incoming dogs. This includes complete blood count, as well as tests for Valley Fever, Tick Fever, Heartworm, and Giardia. We place dogs on preventive medications and strive to discern and treat any existing issues using whatever diagnostics and interventions are necessary.

We have an extensive application and screening process for prospective adopters, including but not limited to a home visit, references checks, and an adoption contract.
