Doodle's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Doodle's Story...
This is our 4th of July litter, guess what day they were born. We have 5 males and 2 females. We are bringing these kids in the store daily starting on 8.15.17. The girls will be ready to go home on 9.9.17 after they have been spayed and the boy on 9.10.17. Mom looks to be a kelpie/border collie blend, dad is unknown. YES these pups might have pitbull in their DNA. The pups have been a foster home with children ages 4 (boy and a girl), 6 and an 11 year old.

Background:
A couple was looking at a house for sale in Shasta County and went to look at a house they planned on making an offer on it. They found mom with 7 pups who dug a den under a tree. We have mom and she is a great mom and will also be looking for a home shortly. Again dad is unknown.

Puppies will be altered before going home. Adoption fee will be $218 and includes altered, micro chip, three puppy shot, and rabies (when of age). Application can be filled out at tailsofrescue, org

Open Tuesday thru Friday 9-3 and Saturday 8-12. Will do different hours if needed to meet the animals. Thanks for looking!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doodle, a Redding Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Redding, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Redding.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redding already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redding breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redding paves the way for another one to be saved.
