Meet one of the sweetest dogs in the world. Huey is 10 years old and weighs 62 pounds. The only family he has ever known has turned their backs on him after his lifetime of loyalty. The grandchild moved in and the grandmother did not want to teach the grandchild boundaries with Huey when he growled at the grandchild but instead left Huey in a very loud and scary place on 08/10. They said he is house trained and he did hold his potty for 2 days until a volunteer finally took him outside. He met several dogs, big and small in the hallway in the shelter and wanted so badly to say hello. He was also very friendly with all people. He knows all of his commands such as sit, stay and lay down and is very gentle on a leash. Huey is current on his vaccines, neutered, and micro-chipped. He will be tested for heart worms when adopted. You will find this precious boy in run 203 and his ID# is 598715. Huey would be best in a home with older children.
