My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

August (Gus) is a 14 week old male, red & white, pit bull.

Gus and his sisters (June & July) entered our program from truly *horrifying* circumstances -- our rescue had never seen anything like it before. It was very graphic and disturbing. By the time rescue was involved, only 3 puppies remained (alive), and they were very, very ill.

The three puppies were covered in ringworm (Gus had it the worst and is clearing up beautifully); broke with parvovirus; struggled with severe upper respiratory infections; and had been starved.

But LWHPBR got them healthy and they are now looking for their forever homes! June and July have both found their forever families, but Gus is still looking! Gus is the sweetheart of the group - he loves being a lap dog, but he also loves to run and play. He is *quite* the snuggle bug!
