We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.
Lilo and Luana were surrendered with their mom, Ohana by their owner. Their owner was intercepted in the parking lot of the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter before surrendering them by a man who had heard of Poochmatch. He directed their owner to surrender them to us instead. Lilo and Luana are about 3-4 months old. They are very playful and affectionate. They are currently in the process of potty training however that is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. While they do not have to be adopted together - it would be wonderful if we could find them a home together and such approved applicants will be given priority. The adoption fee for each is $350 which covers the cost of their spay, 4 sets of distemper/parvo vaccines, rabies vaccine, fecal testing, deworming, microchip and microchip registration. If you are interested in meeting them, please complete an adoption application which is available on our website, poochmatch.com, under the adoption tab and email it to poochmatch@hotmail.com. Approved applicants will be contacted to meet one or both on Saturdays during our weekly adoption event at the Petsmart of Yorba Linda at 1 PM.
If you are interested in meeting this dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED FOR ADOPTION. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent.
Adoption fees are tax deductible and cover the cost of the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, 4 sets of distemper/parvo vaccines, microchip, microchip registration, fecal testing and deworming.
Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so.
