Meet Bernadette! Bernadette and her sister Penny were born via emergency c-section when their mom hadn't produced any kittens after hours of labor. They added a lot of excitement to "kitten season" this spring! Bernadette and her sister Penny are both very shy kitties, but their foster mom and the TKN volunteers are working on bringing them out of their shells!
We have moved the four very friendly outgoing kittens from the Ax litter in with Penny, Bernadette and their mama and it has done wonders for these sweet but shy little girls. They now run and play with the other kittens and have gotten much less skittish around people in just a few days. Both Penny and Bernadette love to play with toys and will chase toys on a string when you play with them. However, they will greatly benefit from having another confident kitten with them and having a patient owner who is willing to give them time to adjust and allow their personalities to shine.
Bernadette must be adopted with another kitten from the Ax litter and would do best in a home with no young children and no dogs. This chunky little fluffball may not be the most social or outgoing kitten in the world but we are confident that she has a lot of love to give and that she will blossom into a wonderful cat for some very lucky family.
