My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this pet personally. Sherman's contact information is shown below.

Sherman is a fabulous little buddy! He is a neutered male Welsh Corgi Pembroke/Beagle mix. He is 8 years old, weighs nearly 24 lbs, and has been through some hard times but is a plucky little guy. He loves to go for walks, likes attention and petting, gets along with other dogs and loves getting baths. He's a friendly little boy who is good with everyone he meets. He can be a little aloof at first while he explores his surroundings and checks everything out, but give him a few minutes and then give him a treat, ask him to sit and he'll show you how smart he is. Then he will be your best friend once you start petting him. He recently had his teeth cleaned and is ready to find his forever home.

Be sure to watch Sherman's video.

You can meet Sherman at the County of San Diego Department of Animal Services at 5480 Gaines St. San Diego, CA 92110. Hours are 9:30-5:30 Tuesday - Sunday (closed Mondays and holidays). Sherman's modest adoption fee includes neutering, all shots, microchip, license, and free vet exam. If you have a dog, bring him/her with you to meet Sherman and see if they will be compatible with each other.

Bring Sherman's ID numbers to the shelter to find him:
ID#: A1791937;
TAG #: C427.
