Hi there, beagle friends! My name is Emmett and I am a very sweet beagle boy that needs to find a new home. I was found as a stray in North Carolina and have been living in a foster home while I await transport to Penny Angels Beagle Rescue. I am approx. 4 years old and weigh 23 lbs. My foster mom said that I am a precious boy! I love other dogs and like to play in the yard with them! In fact, I really enjoy making new friends! I love people, too, but am a little hesitant if someone suddenly reaches for me. I don’t remember what happened to make me react that way, but it is just something that you will have to think about when you are near me. I do well in the crate in my foster home, but I am still working on my house training. I’m sure that I will get the hang of things soon! I haven’t really found my ‘voice’ yet, which can be a rare thing for a beagle. Perhaps I just don’t have anything important to say at the moment! I will be traveling to Penny Angels Beagle Rescue on Saturday, Aug. 19, and hope to be at Petsmart from 11-3 pm that day so that I can meet some new friends. More information will be posted about me after I arrive in Rescue. If you are a gentle person that is ready to love me forever, please fill out an application and submit it to Penny Angels.
