Introducing honorary chihuahua Lacey! Lacey is an 8 month old lab mix who is getting close to 40 lbs. We happily saved Lacey from being euthanized when her foster mom begged and begged us to. Lacey was to be euthanized the next day, had severe demodex mange, and had no other way to get out of the shelter. Lacey has made an amazing transformation (before photos at the end of the album). She still has a little more hair to grow in but is right on track to have a beautiful coat and healthy skin. Lacey is still very much a puppy. She is silly and LOVES to play. Lacey is working very hard on her big girl manners. She does a really good job in a calm environment but needs extra reminders when excited. Lacey is extremely food motivated and is more than willing to learn for food. She does really good with her potty manners when kept on a schedule and sleeps all night long perfectly in her kennel. Lacey would love an active household. She has energy to burn and would love to play it off with her human. Lacey does well with bigger dogs who are more mature than her but is a little too rough for dogs smaller than her. Apply to adopt this beautiful girl at www.texaschihuahuarescue.com
