Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reggie is a Poodle/Shih Tzu Mix or also known as a Shih-poo. He is black and white. He was born 12-12-2001, So he's almost 7 years old. He is neutered and up to date with his shots. He weighs around 19 pounds.
Reggie is adorable lap dog. He loves spending his days laying on your lap or at least right beside you. He loves to go wherever you go and will sit by your feet when your busy. He loves to go for car rides and loves to sit on your lap and look out the window. He's very laid back and is very content sleeping in every day and gets so excited at night because he knows it's bed time! He will try and hop up on the bed but depending on the bed he might be too short for it so he'll sit beside the bed and bark and whine until you pick him up and he'll go and curl up next to you. He'll go outside to do his business but after that he wants right back in, he doesn't like the cold and rather snuggle up on your lap and sit by the fireplace while you read. When he wants to he can be very playful and loves to chew on ropes! But when he's done with playing he's right back to being right by your side and just enjoying your company.
Reggie would do well in a calm household, maybe a retired couple or someone who works from home. He loves to be with you at the time and just enjoys being around his people, so someone who could spend lots of time with him he'd love to pieces. He does well around other dogs but rather be the center of attention and if there are other dogs around he's perfectly content except he'd rather dine alone.
Reggie is not aggressive with other dogs, she's been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
