My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Zeke and I'm a male, 12 year old Lab who was turned in by my owner. A shelter sure isn't where I thought I'd be spending my golden years. I came here barely able to walk or stand. A visit to the private vet showed that I have pretty bad arthritis in my back and hips. The vet put me on anti-inflammatory drugs with a mild pain medication and I'm happy to report that I have improved greatly. I'll probably need the drugs for the rest of my life but I'm told they are not too expensive. I'll need a quiet home, one with no other dogs or young children. A comfy bed, some good food, limited walks and activities and lots and lots of love. If you have room in your home and your heart for a senior pup like me, please consider coming by to meet me today.
