Blue's Story...
I'm waiting for "Mr. (or Ms) Right" to come along!
Hi there! My name is "Blue" and I'm a blue-nosed PitBull. Get it? Blue nose and they named me Blue! Sometimes I wonder what my previous owners were thinking when they tied me to the fence at PAWS one cold day and just left me there for someone to find me. At first I thought they were coming back but as the hours stretched into days I realized I was not going back to the home I knew.

I don't think I did anything wrong and I don't know how anyone could leave a beauty such as me behind. Just look at my smile! And, if you cuddle with me you will quickly learn that I am the most loyal and loving around you'll ever find. My needs are simple - a home with you that I don't have to share with other pets, some fun toys and a chance to snuggle with you on the couch and discuss who has control of the remote are pretty much all I need. I don't care much for dog parks, jogging or play dates at Dog-A-Rama. Just think of all that money you'll save on doggie daycare!

I'm a strong girl and I'm OK with not being some little dainty flower. I also like to pick who my friends are and if you are lucky maybe you'll be the one for me! Due to my strength and shall we say, lack of affection for other animals, I would prefer to be in an adults-only home without other pets. I'm about 3 years old, current on my vaccines and have already been spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue, a Norwalk American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
