My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam #2 is a 1-year-old neutered male yellow lab. Sam weighs 51 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

Sam has a great disposition -- sweet and friendly. He is fine on a leash with meeting new dogs. Sam appears to be house trained as he is keeping his run clean. The shelter evaluator says Sam has “one of those faces that is just so expressive, like you can just imagine what he is saying!!!” Cats are unknown. There is no history of Sam living with children so he is approved for 10 years and up.

UPDATE: Sam just arrived to his foster mom's house and is loving it. He rides amazingly well in the car. He gets super excited and wiggly when he meets anyone, then immediately settles down and will cuddle for hours. He is so affectionate and sweet. He walks great on a leash. He is completely crate and house trained (though he doesn't like the crate if he can hear you are still home). He gets along great with his foster sister. He went out to dinner yesterday and did great! He wagged his tail at all the people, but never begged for food and just laid down next to me. This guy will definitely make ANYONE happy.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP.
