We do not adopt dogs from just phone calls or emails. Please do not fill in adoption forms anywhere else, but on OUR web site. Thanks for that.
To start our adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our web site and personality details below about each dog BELOW so please READ BEFORE getting in touch. We already answer 500+ emails a day. We do answer questions on dogs once our adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match to the right homes.
Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our adoption form. If their name says pending home then they are not available and are on a test drive with a new family. We do remove our dogs when our adoptions are final so please do not ask us if dogs are available if you see their ads here.
There is an adoption fee of $400 for this dog. We will be able talk to folks about her once they fill in our adoption form with those details above.
Thanks so much to the lovely family for donating a pup from your recent litter to the rescue so we could find this cutie a new home. We aren't breeders here at this rescue and all our personal pets are spayed or neutered. We don't have any other pups available besides Kate, but thanks for asking. We are calling her Katharine Hepburn or Kate until her new family renames her. I wonder if we like old movies here?
She is not ready for adoption yet but of course I had to share some cute shots from this morning when I had a helper to hold her for me. Kate will be ready the first week of September for her new family.
Kate is an 8 week old female pup born on June 18th as of this posting. She has had her first shots and worming. She will receive more shots and worming as well as spayed when she is ready for her new home.
Kate is mostly dachshund with a little chihuahua thrown in. So far so cute and if you introduce this cutie to cats at an early age then she will like them her entire life.
We are socializing her with dogs and people until she is adopted. Of course her new family can come and visit her here at the rescue until she is ready for her new home.
We are looking for a home with time to train a new pup, someone who is not working all day to leave her locked up waiting for them to come home and spend a half hour a day with her, prefer a home with other dogs to be her bud, no kids under age 8 in the home and a fully fenced yard if you are in town.
