Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marble is one unique little dog, if we do say so ourselves!
When we walked by her kennel at the shelter she was out for a walk with a volunteer but we HAD to wait to meet the dog labeled as a pitbull/dachshund mix and see what she looked like! We met her and sure enough she looked like.....a pitbull (or other terrier) stuck in a dachshund shaped body.
Marble immediately crawled into our laps and gave kisses, which we took to mean she wanted to come join us at Dog Town Rescue, so off we all went!
We don't know much about her history since she was initially found as a stray but we do know the important things: she loves people, is great with dogs of all sizes and tested well with cats when we let her explore around the cat cages.
She likely could live with cats harmoniously, with an appropriate introduction.
Marble met a few kids and was just as happy to kiss their faces as she is adults', however she does need to learn some manners around sharing toys when she gets really wound up, so would do best with kids who are a bit older and/or dog savvy. She is also good in a crate. At just around 3 years old this girl is the whole package!
