Rescued 5/31/2017 Caesar is in a loving foster home in Hannibal, New York 13074 where he is having fun enjoying his new freedom. Stay tuned for more on our boy Caesar A volunteer writes: Don’t tell Caesar he isn’t the best looking dog on the planet, as he simply won’t believe you. Rocking a bow tie, thrilled to be hanging out for pets and cuddles, and even more thrilled when a squeaky toy is tossed, Caesar runs after the toy, tail wagging like a stallion! Bouncing around the pen, toy in mouth and having the best time making it squeak, he finally settles down for a good chomp, carefully peeling the skin off the toy. Found as a stray, he has a very treatable skin condition that needs time and patience to restore him to his ‘best looking dog ever’ status. Caesar rocked his behavior assessment, even joining in the ‘tag’ portion of the test, thinking it was play. Rockstar! On his first playdate he showed brief interest in playing with the female greeter and then went his own way. We know that Caesar has to be uncomfortable with his current skin condition, but he’s not going to let anything get him down. No siree! Fun, friendly, playful and affectionate (he enjoys sitting with his person on the bench for some cuddle time), Caesar is ready to rock his way into his new home for love, fun and care.
