My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES MAX INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Max is a very handsome German Shepherd puppy who is 5 mos. old and came to the rescue after his owner was not able to care for him. Max is in a foster home now and his foster mom says he is a great little guy. He gets along with the other dogs in the home and has met the family cat. He was interested in the cat but after getting a swat and a hiss he ignored the cat after that. Max loves kids and is very loving with the little girl in his foster home. He is housebroken and his foster mom is working with him on walking nicely on leash.

Max is as cute as he can be but is still a puppy. Puppies require a lot of time and attention to make them the best grown-up dogs they can be. They will whine, get into things and chew on inappropriate things, all while they are learning and growing. Puppy obedience class is very helpful to get them socialized, work on puppy behavior and begin to form a strong bond with the new owner.

If you would like to make this Max a part of your family, please copy the link for the application.
