Wow, I sure have a lot of people interested in hearing my story. I mean I thought maybe one or two people would be interested in it but it turns out I have a lot of amazing people wanting to know my background..I am hoping that some of you will also be interested in adopting me fyi ;)
Well, as far as my story I don't have much to share. I got the short end of the stick and ended up in a crappy home. I was neglected plain and simple. I was cast out to the yard and that is where stayed with little food, shelter, or water for that matter. My nails were overgrown and I was not loved very much. I manged to escape one day, with my friend Clyde I believe some of you have seen him already as well. We ended up in a small pound, and our owner was furious we got away. Why he wanted us back I have no idea but the pound put a big fee on us if he wanted us back due to animal neglect charges. He decided to back down and once we were off stray hold we were picked up by rescue. This is where everything changed, and for the better!
We are now in foster homes and life is good. I am a very sweet girl and absolutely love attention and will just sit down in front of you and scoot closer every time you stop petting me wanting more pets. I have also had some bad experiences with the hand though and will sometimes drop to the floor or cower at fast movements. When you walk towards me my tail starts wagging but at the same time I am also worried you are mad with me and will put my head down as close to the floor as possible...my fosters say it is heart-breaking. I know I am safe with them, but I guess habit over-rules everything else. I love being in the house and being near you. I am good with the other dogs and very submissive. I ignore the cats and am housebroken. I walk okay on the leash and ride well in the car. I am on the more laid back side and have no problem just chilling, so even if you have to go somewhere I would do fine with the run of the house. I have a super soft coat which I expect will start growing more now that I have better nutrition and beautiful orange and white markings all over my body.
My adoption fee is $200 which will include my spay, micro-chip, shots, negative for heart-worms, and I will be current on flea/tick and heart-worm prevention.
