My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Millie!
She is 35 lbs, possibly a border collie mix and about 2 1/2
year old.
Good with most dogs. Sometimes she gets a little rowdy but
she loves to run around and play with her friends at the dog
park.
She is sweet to females, tends to be shy towards men, but
warms up to most. However she is very afraid of my boyfriend,
and that hasn’t changed the whole time I’ve had her. She gets
nervous/confused around kids and hasn’t had much exposure
to them.
I found her at a shelter when she was about a year old. She is
afraid of loud noises and big objects being carried.
She loves hiking and going on adventures, chasing lizards is
probably her favorite activity! She’ll play fetch for a little while
but would rather just wander around checking things out. She
is great walking on leash, or running next to a bicycle or
skateboard
She is potty trained, up to date on shots, micro-chipped, goes
in her crate on command but would rather sleep next to you.
Millie would be best with someone who is experienced with
active and timid dogs. She is located in Ventura but I’d be
willing to drive to a good home. Small adoption fee and home
check required. If you’re interested in her please contact Erin
at mcquilkin.erin@gmail.com
