Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bonnie and Clyde were on their way to the San Bernardino pound when a concerned citizen (who happened to know of Poochmatch) intercepted their owner in the parking lot and offered to take them to us instead. This was a lifesaver for them as they were not socialized and wouldn't have fared well in the pound. They have truly blossomed in their foster home, it took them some time but now that they are out of their shell they are looking to spread their love around! Clyde is the goofy one with the very outgoing and spunky personality. Bonnie is a bit more reserved, though not by much, she has a mellower temperament and while she does enjoy playing occasionally, she really prefers cuddling. Both are totally food-motivated, as the saying goes, the way to their heart is through their stomach. They are 1-2 years old. Bonnie weighs about 17 pounds and Clyde weighs about 19 pounds. While they do not have to be adopted together, we strive to keep best buds together when possible. The adoption fee for each is $285 which covers the cost of spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, 2 sets of distemper/parvo vaccine, fecal testing, deworming, microchip and microchip registration. If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Upon receipt AND approval, the dog you are interested in meeting will be made available to meet on a Saturday. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent. Please understand that private appointments will be coordinated to meet the convenience of the foster parent/transporter. We cannot hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.
All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, core vaccinations (rabies and 2 sets of distemper/parvo), fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
