My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome fellow is a 2 year old mixed breed dog. He weighs 34 lbs. He arrived on August 19th. He was excellent during the car ride home. He sat in the back seat and looked out the window. He likes playing in the yard, rolling in the grass and relaxing on the deck. He likes having his back rubbed. He is quick and likes taking walks in the neighborhood. He is good with children (we have a 9-year-old and a 12-year-old). He slept soundly in his crate the whole night. He started off timid but has warmed up to us quickly!

UPDATE: This sweet boy went to the groomers today. He was fantastic! Jango likes going for walks searching for squirrels and birds. He likes being outside on the deck listening to all the sounds of summer. He also enjoys relaxing in his crate. In the evening, he lays in his crate and sleeps in it for the whole night. So far, he has proven to be a quiet boy as I have only heard him bark once in several days.

UPDATE: Jango has adjusted very nicely. He continues to sleep well in his crate all night. During a recent storm, Jango was unfazed by the loud thunder. He is house trained. He consistently goes to the bathroom during his walks. Jango is good with the leash. He does not pull and allows us to lead him on the walk. He enjoys the walks and gets excited when you show him his leash. When he meets other dogs in the neighborhood, Jango is curious and unaggressive. He is becoming quite playful. We are teaching him to play with a ball and a tug toy. He also likes to run around the deck, dodging back and forth. Jango is a social dog and enjoys being with people.
