Doja is a young at heart seven year old Shepherd/Bully breed mix who first came to the shelter when his owner fell on hard times. He was adopted but then was sadly returned due to landlord issues. Doja is a very friendly guy that loves to play with toys. He knows a few basic commands and is housebroken. He is good on leash and is crate trained. He is good with kids and other dogs.
At least here at the shelter his basic needs are met, like food and water plus a roof over his head. However, he is longing to find his forever home and a family to love. He has plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for him?? Come and have a meet-n-greet with him.
He is still a young fellow at heart. He has been checked out by a veterinarian and neutered. He received a set of preventative shots and have been wormed. He has tested negative for heartworms. He has also been microchipped.
He is being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt him. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice. Sheltered Paws will rebate back to you a dollar value up to but not to exceed $100.00.
