My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THOR arrived at the our pound after being found on Dump Rd. in Hopedale. He is a neutered 1-2 year old Black Lab mix. He doesn't look as big in his pictures as he is, but this boy is a big one! He probably weighs around 80-90 lbs! THOR took a little bit of time to warm up; he was nervous and probably wondered what he was doing at a dog pound all of a sudden. He was easily won over with a hot dog. OK...with 2 hot dogs. THOR loves to be with people and to play. He will fetch a toy and bring it back to you. He knows some basic commands too. We believe he is also housebroken. He takes food gently and given the chance, will try to crawl into your lap. Due to his size and because he is a bit "mouthy" (likes to use his mouth on people), we don't believe a home with small children would be a good environment. The person who found him said he wasn't good with his other dogs, but we haven't seen behavior like that yet at the pound. If you have another dog, it would be a good idea to bring him/her along for a meetngreet.
