Jasleene's Story...
Jasleene came in as a stray on 11/8 and is in need of some tlc. She recently had puppies and then she was most likely dumped after she served her purpose. PLEASE REFER TO LOG # 672 WHEN INQUIRING ABOUT THIS DOG. If you would like to meet a dog, please visit the shelter during regular business hours or email aimless123@gmail.com. Shelter hours are Monday - Saturday 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM - closed holidays. Out of respect for employee schedules, volunteers can't take a dog out within 15 minutes of shelter closing time. Animal Control Officers and shelter employees do not work with the dogs and often can not provide information about the animal's personality. You must go to the shelter to arrange an adoption in person. No adoptions can be arranged over the phone or by Internet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasleene, a Providence American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Providence, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
