Tyson's Story...
Tyson is a young boy who was rescued from a shelter by NJBR.. He is somewhere between 1 and 2 years of age. All Tyson wants to do is to please you and be loved.

Tyson needs an active family that can help him burn all his stored up energy and he would really love a yard to play in. Tyson will also require training to learn some manners. He is doing well after only a few days in his foster home. Tyson knows the sit command. He shows no signs of food aggression. He has been doing great on his leash walks. He takes correction well while on his walks. Tyson has not had an accident in the house since he got here. He stays off the furniture, and loves his dog bed. Tyson does really well in the crate and seems very comfortable in it. He is crated when we are not home and sleeps in it at night, near his foster fur brother and sisters. Tyson loves his toys. His favorite is a big soft orange bone that one of our volunteers gave him. He is happy to have a pile of toys and play alone as well as with the other boxers.

We will continue to update his bio as we get to know him better.

If you are interested in giving Tyson his forever home, please read our policies, procedures, fill out an application and contact his contact person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyson, a Middlesex Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Middlesex, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Middlesex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middlesex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middlesex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middlesex paves the way for another one to be saved.
