My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Starry Night, she is 12 years old. She has found herself lost in the world. Sadly her microchip wasn't kept current and she has found shelter at Central Vet. However, we would like to find her foster or a new furever family. She is a little under 45 pounds and is getting treated for intestinal parasites and will be started on monthly prevention to slowly kill the heartworms she has. She knows paw/shake and is a little too tender to do an easy sit at 12 years young. She loves to just have some company enjoying the breeze and a long nap after a full tummy. Adoption fee of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.

We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible.
