Here's what the humans have to say about me:
THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING. ADR is not responsible for the health, temperament, behavior or placement of this dog. Listings are done at the request of the dog's owner and as an outreach and community service in hopes of finding these dogs a loving, stable forever home. Placement decisions are made solely at the discretion of the owner and not Austin Dog Rescue. Owners are required to ask for an adoption fee from adopters.
This is the information that we received from Remy's current foster family:
I'm fostering Remy through the Austin Humane Society - he's been there for 3 of his 3.5 years (through several different shelters) - adopted, but always returned for some reason or another. He's been such a great dog, and I'm hoping you can help me get him some exposure because he does NOT do well in the shelter/kennel - and hate to take him back to the shelter. He's been SO good - knows most commands, hasn't had ONE accident inside in 7 weeks now. I just can't keep him - he really should have a yard as he's a pretty active dog. Rey loves to go on walks, and is very sweet. The shelter says he is not good with kids under 13, and not good with cats. Remy is also selective with dogs (what I've observed, females smaller than him, he gets along well with.
