Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Ranger. I would like to thank my friend Anabel for writing my story. I was very shy and afraid when I first arrived at my foster home. I have been doing better lately and feel like I can tell my own story now. I came from a place where no one ever touched me. No one talked to me or petted me. I did not know what to do when I got here. I just wanted to hide. Now I sit and sleep when all the family is together. I eat like a champ and love treats. The best thing is getting to run in the backyard with the other dogs. My new family has got to have a fence, it’s the greatest! I would love to have a friend or two to play with me as well. I use a crate at night and sleep all night until someone gets up and I’m ready to start my day. I love to go on walks and I prefer a quiet street to stroll on. During times when the house is not busy, I like a cow hoof to keep me occupied. I am still afraid of quick motions and mom has to catch me sometimes to hold me. After she picks me up, I melt in her arms. Most of the times I touch her leg or her hand to pet me. I am so happy to see my human sister and dad when they come home. But I can’t let them pet me yet. I do love them though. I am a super gentle, sweet, not a mean bone in my body kind of guy. I am in search of a family that is familiar with a boy like me, one that is patient, and will take me as I am. Mom says they will not be sorry, I know she loves me to pieces! Love, Ranger
