The hardest part about kitten season is rescuing beautiful mama’s with their precious babes, and all the babes find families while the Moms, who work so hard to raise the kittens, sit and wait. And wait, and wait some more. We get it, people love the babes. We do too!! But Moms are just as sweet and deserve to find forever homes too.
April is one such mom. She gave birth at a local animal control facility on April 1st. She had 4 lovely babies. She was a GREAT mama. Those kittens were the healthiest, fattest kittens the foster mom ever had.
We think she deserves the best home ever! April is a quiet girl. While not very old, she is “settled”. She likes to watch the world out the window from her cat tree. April is a bit of a loner.. while she tolerates the other cats in her foster home, she prefers that they stay out of her personal space. April very much enjoys her chin rubs and head/butt scratches. When you feed her, she rewards you with lots of leg twirls.
April will probably do best with older children who understand she doesn’t want to be carried around.
April is negative for FIV/FeLV, up-to-date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. The adoption fee is $ 90.00.
April can be seen at our adoption center at the Lawrenceville Petsmart (875 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30043) during regular business hours.
