My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia is a beautiful 6 year old girl who is just as sweet as any dog can be. Mia had been in an enclosure for the last few years as her very elderly owners found it difficult to take care of her. Neighbors and friends helped feed, water and clean her enclosure but this was no life for a dog. Mia is a real sweetheart and very people friendly. If you would like to give Mia the life she deserves, please see below...

** PLEASE NOTE **

You must be at least 23 years old to adopt. You have to fill out an adoption application before we can discuss any of our dogs or puppies with you so we know as much about you as possible. Almost all of our dogs and puppies have pre-approved adopters so apply as soon as possible. The application is at http://www.joshuafundrescue.org/adoptionapplication

Since we are a Rescue located many states away from where the dog originates, we know nothing more about the dog than is stated in the above description. We arrange to have every dog vaccinated, spayed/neutered, treated for any condition they may have and IF they have heart worm, it is treated at the Vet near the shelter of origin. Our dogs and puppies are either in foster care or at a boarding boarding facility for their mandatory 21 day quarantine period; longer if they are receiving heart worm treatment.
Mia, Labrador Retriever has been shared from Shelter Exchange.
