I was living in the streets of South Los Angeles for some time, but a kind woman was watching me for the last few months and providing me food and water. What I did not know was that she was desperately trying to find a rescue to help me. One day she caught me and took me to Forte Animal Rescue, so they can help me find a real home! I am timid and cautious right now because there are new people and places all around me, but I am really enjoying the gentle hands and the kind voices, especially since I have been without human attention for a while. I am a little skittish around loud noises, but walk well on leash and will gladly follow people that are nice to me. I cannot wait to unwind and be myself again because being a street dog was stressful and scary (I was even attacked by another dog)! I cannot believe how suddenly my life has changed! I have a beautiful new name, Lilianna named after the kind woman who took me off the street, and now live in a foster home until I find my right human. If that is you, can you contact Forte quickly because I am anxious to start the happier part of my life!
If you are interested in meeting Lilianna, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.
[Lilianna is 1 year old and weighs 19 lbs.]
