My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little 45 lb Boxer is just as cute as a button. He's your typical friendly, wiggly, funny clown that epitomizes why Boxers are sometimes referred to as the court jesters of the dog world! Maestro is a six year old male Boxer whose previous owner abandoned him at a vet clinic when he found out he had food allergies. We have found something that works to keep Maestro in great shape, but he must only eat a specific type of dog food. Because Maestro's previous owner did not keep him on heartworm prevention, he will also have to go through heartworm treatment prior to being adopted.


Maestro likes other dogs but we don't know about cats. He has some obedience training and is the perfect combination of Boxer spunk and knowing how to kick back! If you can commit to feeding Maestro his special diet, which is no extra trouble but costs a bit more, he may be the perfect boy for you.
