Five year old Sam lost his home when the economy got so bad that his owners had to move to a place which wouldn't allow dogs. Sam is neutered and fully up to date on shots and heartworm preventative. He must have been a special boy because he adores everyone and really likes to ride "shotgun" in the car! His dark, handsome face let's you know that you are special also. He is ok with cats and does well with other dogs, especially females. Sam would love to get a furever home soon. If you are interested in adding a tall, dark and handsome fellow to your life, or in fostering Sam, please

Sam is not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates program. We are listing him as a courtesy for the John Nelson Moosedog Rescue Fund and his adoption will be handled through them. To learn more about dogs like Sam, please click here to go to their website. You may contact them at
