Minnie's Story...
Minnie is a 2-3 year old long haired Chihuahua who has a very special story. She came to us several months ago after being impounded at our local animal control facility, Minnie was close to death. She was so emaciated you could see all her bones, she was doing poorly, her hair was matted, and she was just miserable. We decided to give this precious girl a chance, she was so loving and deserved to know what life was all about. We found that Minnie suffers from Pancreatic insufficiency, a condition which is very easily controlled with a daily supplement given in her food. Minnie will need this supplement for life but its no trouble whatsoever. We feel certain someone out there can give our girl the home she needs and deserves!!! If you think you can make the comittment to Minne please download and complete our Preliminary Adoption Application and return it per the instructions given.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a McDonough Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in McDonough, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in McDonough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McDonough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McDonough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McDonough paves the way for another one to be saved.
