Skylar's Story...
Marley is a gorgeous four month old yellow Lab mixed puppy who came to us from our local animal control facility once his family found him to be too much trouble. Puppies are a lot of work but they are living breathing babies who must be taught about the world and what is expected of them, just like a human baby. His coat is a very light blond and his eyes are an amber color. He is a big boy and we expect he will be a fairly large adult. As with our other large breed dogs please have an excellent vet reference and a securely fenced yard before you apply, these things will not be negotiable.

If you are interested in adopting this pet, please download and complete our Preliminary Adoption Application and return it per the instructions given. Adoption Fee: $250.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skylar, a McDonough Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in McDonough, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in McDonough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McDonough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McDonough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McDonough paves the way for another one to be saved.
