Princess Bio:
Princess is a 5 year old, female Bi Colored German Shepherd, Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick, and microchipped. Princess is Heartworm Positive we are treating via slow kill methods and will provide medication and explain treatment. She does not need to be confined or restrict activity. We also advise that you consult with your Veterinarian to ensure they understand and will continue slow kill treatment.
Princess was owner surrendered to a very Rural high kill shelter because the family had to move out of State due to having medical issues. Princess ended up with a deep cut to her back leg while in the Shelter because lawn maintenance scared her she cut her leg. She has been seen by our Vet and it is healing.
Princess is a very sweet girl that loves stuffy toys, can be possessive with other dogs when her toys are concerned but has never been in a fight here at the Rescue. She has some slight separation anxiety so a safe place for her when leaving the home would be beneficial. Princess is very well mannered and just wants to be around someone all day. She would be perfect companion for a Retired family.
Princess lived in a home with other dogs small dogs as well but she was the boss, Princess the name really sums up her personality.

All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and or neutered. Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior to final adoption.
