found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Fred is a sweet and gentle boy who loves attention but is not a Velcro boy. He wants to be loved but doesn't have to be with you to know he's safe and secure. Still, he doesn't mind being carried and would look great on anyone's arm. He does okay on a leash and does like to explore on walks. Fred is not a fan of very young children but would do well with respectful children five years or older.
Though we are fairly certain Fred is part Poodle, he definitely did not get the non-shedding gene so he does shed. Keep him brushed, though, and it shouldn't be an issue.
If you would like to meet and potentially adopt Fred please read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org.
All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
