My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nia is a female purebred Yorkshire Terrier and is 8 years old. She is a sturdy, little dog, weighing 8 ½ lbs., which is a good adult weight for her. Nia has a black and gray body with tan and gray legs, head and ears. She is sporting a short summer haircut which makes care very easy. She is learning to enjoy life as a companion pet in her foster home as she spent her life in a kennel as a breeding dog. Nia has recently learned how nice it is to cuddle next to a person and to receive human affection. Now she follows her foster mom from room to room just to be near her. Nia is good with other dogs her size and enjoys their calm companionship. She is a quiet, mellow little girl, and prefers a peaceful, calm environment where she can learn to be a companion pet. Nia is well behaved in the home and enjoys being near you. She will thrive in a home where she can receive attention, training and affection. She was recently spayed and had dental care so now she is ready to meet her forever family.
