Emma is a Plotthound mix; we think her "mix" is probably Beagle. She's a senior lady at about 8 years old, and she has been the companion of a 12-year-old Terrier mix (Bucky) that we placed with someone 9 years ago whose health problems recently made it impossible for her to keep the dogs. We couldn't fathom taking back our Terrier mix and letting his friend, Emma, go to "the pound." She is a mellow, medium-sized dog who is housebroken and enjoys her humans. Though we would love to place Emma and Bucky together, we don't expect this to happen because Bucky has some behavioral flaws that make him less adoptable than Emma.
