Adoption fee $75
Cara looked much more like an Abyssinian mix when she was a young kitten, but as she grew up her tabby markings appeared. However, even though her coat changed from the ticked pattern of an Abby, she does retain the intelligence of the Abyssinian breed. She is a smart, sweet girl and is very people orientated. She likes to be involved in what you are doing. It is almost as if she wants to help you. Try mopping the floor or cleaning the litter box with her around!
She was so happy when introduced to the kitten room. She investigated all the different toys, the tunnel, the catnip mice, and especially the scratching post. She enjoys carrying the mice around and chasing the feathers on a string and jumping up high to grab them. She loves it when her foster mom plays with her! I really think she could easily be taught to retrieve items.
Since she likes to be a part of what's happening, a place where someone is home most of the time or where she has another kitten as a playmate would be best for Cara. She is shy around strangers, and needs time to trust someone new. She is very loved by her foster mom and son, and immediately starts purring when she is picked up and cuddled. She looks directly into your eyes, as though trying to express her love for you!

Cara will come to you spayed, tested, vaccinated and microchipped. She is litterbox perfect and fostered in the Sacramento area.
