Hi my name is Jinx! I was born on April 1st. I was rescued from a horrible hoarding situation, but boy have I hit the jackpot with PetPromise! They took me in, got me some medicine, took care of all my vaccinations, microchipped me, neutered me, and placed me with a foster family that totally loves black cats. My foster mom describes me as a total “snuggle bundle” that loves to sit either on your lap or in the bend of your legs….this is all true by the way! I’m quite curious and follow my foster mom around all the time. I love to sit on the sink and watch her wash her face. I also love watching the laundry go round and round in the washer. I try to catch the falling clothes, but haven’t been successful YET. I’m just a curious fellow who loves to run and play with my foster sister Jujubee, who is also up for adoption. We were both VERY sick kitties when we were rescued by PetPromise, so we’re quite close to one another after spending so much time together during our recovery. Although I’m sure I would do just fine on my own, a playmate sure would be awesome! I love to run, wrestle, and play, so if my furever family works during the day, a playmate and snuggling partner would be greatly appreciated! My foster brother Willie is also one of my playmates and is also up for adoption, so if you’re looking for more than one kitty, check out Jujubee (my sister) and Willie (playmate & pal). We do our best to ensure that all of the PetPromise pets and their new owners are the perfect match, so the adoption process includes a mandatory home visit; for that reason, adoptions outside Franklin County, Ohio and contiguous counties may not be possible.
PETPROMISE DOES NOT HAVE A SHELTER. Our pets are housed in volunteer foster homes while awaiting adoption.
PETPROMISE HAS NO PAID STAFF. The people processing applications are volunteers with full-time jobs and families, so it may be several days before you receive a response to your application.
